AT around 7pm saturday night hot gossip CEO(jackson chege) got a phone call caller:aje vasco uko wapi toa kunablaze!!!!!! (which translates to where are you vasco? our town is on fire). immediatelly i got motorbike and rushed to scene.oh my !!what previously was a booming business premises was now a true defination of HELL FIRE!! serious fire was slowly turning millions and millions of shillings to ash.what shocked me tha most is all that time kisii fire fighters were not on the scene.the first fire fighting vehicle arrived at 10pm and it took the poor fellows about 30 minutes to get vehicle ready.so my question to kisii gorvener mr James Ongwae,are you proud to be a gorverner of a county with no fire fighting equipments??? if this was your office burning could the fire fighters have delayed like this?
